(Convertibles run up one level of safety)
1) Street cars - Bring a valid drivers license and a helmet that is approved.
Speed limit for street car class is a strict 135 mph.
2) Convertibles - Unless it has a roll bar, convertibles are prohibited, sorry.
3) Tires - Must be speed rated for 135mph. They must also be safe.
4) Over 135mph - You must have a roll cage to get out of street class.
There are many other requirements, but that is the big one.
5) Look at the classes and records before you decide what to build.
As the speed of your class goes up, so do the safety equipment requirements.
